ABOUT ME
Hello, my name is Steven I am from the old railway town of Crewe, England. I have written poetry for several years now, mainly for my two children. For years most of my work just gathered dust on shelves, in drawers, or gathered virtual dust on neglected hard drives from disused computers. I was encouraged to pursue my ambition of getting some of my longer children's poems published, and in 2015 I took the plunge and did just that.
My first venture into self publishing was "The Truth about Cinderella", which I wrote many years ago back in 2002 or thereabouts. I had received some good feedback from this and decided to release it as an E Book. I also commissioned it as an audio book read by Ian Barker. Criticism of this book mainly focused on the lack of illustrations, so for my next books I decided this is what I needed.
"Culinanucobold" came next, (yeah I realise some people find it hard to pronounce) this was my first fully illustrated book released in paperback. I got the artwork completed by Taufiq who I found on Fiverr.com. I loved his work and I am proud this became my first 'proper' book. It is also available as an E book and audio book, again read by Ian Barker.
"The Frog Dragon" is my newest release, available in all formats.
Writing is not my full time occupation, I do have another day job. I am still very new to publishing and I am learning all the time. It's a massive learning curve but one I am really enjoying. More books are in the pipelines which I hope to release in the coming months. I have a compillation book of spooky poems and I am working on my first novel.
